We are in Amarillo, TX tonight after driving ALL day. It was a scenic drive with very little traffic except through Santa Fe. We stopped at the Midway point on Route 66. That is midway between Chicago and LosAngeles. We also stopped at the Cadillac Ranch (Route 66) with our can of Hot Pink spray paint and left our graffiti. That was so much fun.
i can’t post any pictures because I have succeeded in filling up the memory on my iPad and can’t download any more pictures. But when I get home I will upload a few more pictures. If you live near us you can schedule your own private showing of my latest slideshow presentation. Many people that have seen them find them to be entertaining. It won’t be just slides, there is appropriate music and funny comments.
One third of the trip home is complete, two more days of travel to go. Can’t wait to sleep in our own bed!!! Signing off for now.
