We traveled along various parts of Route 66 in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. It is so interesting seeing relics and buildings from a by-gone era. I have relatives that moved to California when I was a child. I wonder if they traveled this road when they visited New Jersey. Tonight we are staying in Santa Rosa, New Mexico right on Route 66, but it is a very modern motel. I’m not “that” into nostalgia. I need a nice comfy room with all the modern amenities.
